Fuller Hall

Fuller Hall

This multi-story apartment building bears the name of Ellis Adams Fuller, Southern Seminary’s sixth president who was notable for his successful fundraising efforts toward campus building campaigns. President Fuller himself turned the first sod at the April 19, 1949 ground-breaking ceremony, but he did not live to see its completion. Fuller Hall welcomed its first tenants in March of 1951, immediately proving to be a great relief to seminary families who had previously been forced to live off-campus at greater expenses and inconvenience. Originally designed to accommodate 250 student families with young children, today the building serves as an extension of on-campus dormitory housing. Fuller Hall received a renovation from 2016 through 2018, and it currently offers suite-styled housing units with a common kitchenette and bathroom shared by 2-4 individuals, in addition to a lounge area on the main floor.
