Maldon Browning Adams (1869-1945), graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1893. He served as the pastor in New Castle, KY, Mason County, KY, and Frankfort, KY. Adams was very involved with the Baptist Education Society of Kentucky, serving as president from 1918-1922. In 1913 he was elected President of Georgetown College and served there until 1931. This collection of papers and manuscripts (ten volumes) was a gift to the seminary from Mrs. Frances Rowe of Edmonton, KY in 1973 through former professor Frank Tupper. Mrs. Rowe served as Dr. Adams’s secretary at Georgetown College and was also the cousin of Mrs. Adams.
